We acknowledge that our Special Olympics Ontario community is located on/in the traditional land of the Anishnaabeg people. The Anishnaabeg include the Ojibwe, Odawa and Pottawatomi nations, collectively known as the Three Fires Confederacy. We also acknowledge that Bradford resides within one of the Williams Treaties of 1818: Treaty 18: the Nottawasaga Purchase.
Today, this meeting place is still the home to many Indigenous people from across Turtle Island and we are grateful to have the opportunity to work, live and play on this land.
